PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a casing trim part around an image display region can be narrowed, an installation space to an apparatus can be reduced, a versatility about a position of a terminal to be connected to a circuit board at the apparatus side is enhanced, and attaching or detaching of the display device to or from the circuit board at the apparatus side can be facilitated, and to provide a clock having the display device. SOLUTION: The display device 2 includes a display panel 20 having a surface substrate 21, an electrophoresis layer 22 and a TFT substrate 23 which are laminated, and a circuit board 30 provided on a backside 23B of the TFT substrate 23. A plurality of input/output terminals 233 are provided on a surface 23A of the TFT substrate 23. A plurality of connection terminals 31 respectively connected to the input/output terminals 233 by bonding wires 25 are provided on a backside 30B of the circuit board 30.
