摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently compute an error correction code with respect to data transmitted at real time such as moving image or the like. SOLUTION: A transmitter for continuously and sequentially transmitting data, whose regeneration unit is variable, is provided. The transmitter includes an obtaining unit which obtains sequentially the data to be transmitted one by one, a buffer for storing an error correction code for correcting error generated in the data by transmission, a calculation unit which renews the buffer by the exclusive OR by calculating the exclusive OR of the error correcting code stored already in the buffer and the data of the part obtained newly at each time when the data in the obtained part arrives at a predetermined size, and a transmission device which transmits sequentially the data of the obtained part and transmits by reading the error correcting code out of the buffer at each time when the calculating unit reads out the exclusive OR with respect to the data having a size corresponding to the regenerating unit.
