PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated heating element that ensures no exfoliation between a conductor (metallic foil and the like) and an insulating layer resin, and reduces deformation such as warpage, exhibiting excellent dimensional stability, flexibility and thermal resistance. SOLUTION: The insulated heating element is structured in such a manner that a conductor is insulated and/or cladded with an insulator. The insulator is a film consisting mainly of polyimide obtained by reaction of aromatic tetracarboxylic acid and aromatic diamine. The insulator includes an outer layer of a polyimide film with the linear expansion coefficient of≤10 ppm/°C, and an inner layer of one or more kinds of adhesives selected from thermoplastic polyimide or thermoplastic polyamide-imide with a 5% weight reduction temperature of≥400°C.
