PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus having an adjustment mechanism for aligning an optical axis path of a pickup on the disk on a diameter of the disk with a small number of parts, requiring a small footprint while being easily assembled, and adjusting the displacement from the same surface as that of other adjustment screw. SOLUTION: The optical disk apparatus includes the mechanism for adjusting a guide shaft of the optical pickup so as to align the path of the optical axis of the pickup on a disk on a diameter of the disk. The mechanism includes a positioning screw for supporting and adjusting the guide shaft.
