PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image analysis apparatus that analyzes photographic styles of image data registered by photographers, and an information exchange system with the image analysis apparatus that enables photographers having the same photographic style to exchange information. SOLUTION: The image analysis apparatus 10 of the information exchange system 100 includes a storage part 12 for storing images subjected to analysis, and an analysis part 13 for categorizing each subject image stored in the storage part 12 and calculating a pertinent category that is a category indicating a photographic style of the subject images stored in the storage part from the categories of the subject images stored in the storage part.
