PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed system in which a plurality of systems perform high level cooperation while maintaining reliability without having any additional calculating resource. SOLUTION: This distributed system includes systems (1210, 1220, 1230 and 1240) and a cooperative environment 1100.In the cooperative environment 1100, a cooperation request program 1600 is executed to retrieve a cooperation accepting program 1700 using a retrieval part 1130 in accordance with the necessity of cooperation based on a request from the transmission source system, and to make a request for processing to the retrieved cooperation accepting program 1700. In the cooperative environment 1100, the cooperation accepting program 1700 is executed to make a request for processing for the cooperative operation to a control part 1430 of each system as the transmission source in accordance with the necessity of the cooperation based on a request from the cooperation request program 1600.
