PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lure which is less apt to cause environmental pollution and which is easy to prepare, according to conditions of a fishing ground, even in fishing ground. SOLUTION: The lure is composed of main powder comprising sodium alginate, and additive powder comprising at least a dye for foods, fish oil, and fish meal. The lure is formed by mixing the main powder with the additive powder in a prescribed proportion, adding the resultant mixed powder to water, kneading the obtained mixture, then casting the kneaded mixture into a mold, and solidifying the kneaded mixture.
