PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently radiate heat from a control board in a control unit for an electric power steering device. SOLUTION: The control unit includes: a drive board (10) for driving an electric motor; the control board (9) for controlling the drive board; and a case body (2, 3) for housing the drive board and the control board inside. The case body is provided with: a bottom part arranged with the drive board; a peripheral wall standing from the outer edge of the bottom part and arranged with the control board at the upper edge or the periphery thereof; and a cover (3) whose circumferential part is attached to the upper edge of the peripheral wall covers the control board with its central part at a predetermined interval from the top surface.
