PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition that gives a transparent cured product excellent in heat resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, low-temperature properties, low-moisture permeability and the like. SOLUTION: The curable composition for transparent materials includes (A) 100 pts.mass of a straight-chain polyfluoro-compound bearing at least two alkenyl groups in one molecule and having a perfluoropolyether structure in its main chain, (B) a fluorine-containing organohydrogen siloxane bearing in one molecule at least two hydrogen atoms directly bonded to a silicon atom in an amount of 0.5-3.0 mole, in terms of an SiH group, relative to 1 mole of the alkenyl group in the component (A), and (C) 0.1-500 ppm, in terms of a platinum group metal atom, of a platinum group metal catalyst, where the difference of the refractive indexes at 25°C at 589 nm (for the sodium D-line) between the component (A) and the component (B) of 0-0.10.
