The self adhesive tap for wrapping automobile surface and pipelines against abrasion or damping from rattle- or sound noises, comprises a band like textile support (1) having a loop fastenable on its upper side, a self-adhesive coating (3) introduced on its lower side (5), and a textile base layer on its upper side. An additional yarn system of the loop is formed as closed loop-pole (2). The textile base layer is formed out of web, tissue, sewn fleece and/or viscose staple fibers or synthetic fibers and has a specific area weight of 80-150 g/m 2>. The lower side of the support is concealed through the coating. A pole base formed by the yarn system is firmly bonded with the textile base layer. The yarn system has a strength of 50-70 dtex and is formed by a cord, knit, weave or sewn weave. The loop pole has a course density of 18 per 2.5 cm, a wale density of 13 per 2.5 cm and pole height of 2-4 mm. Material thickness of the support is 1.1-2.4 mm. The support in longitudinal direction has an elongation to tear of 10-80% and a resistance to tear of 25-70 N/cm. The coating consists pressure sensitive rubber or acrylate containing pressure sensitive adhesive. The flat mass area of the coating is 100-120 g/m 2>. |
