Candle body made of a candle raw material, comprises at least a fatty alcohol (20%). Independent claims are included for: (1) a small candle, votive candles, pillar candle, vessel candle (for the interior- and exterior-area) or grave light comprising at least one wick and the candle body; and (2) preparing the candle or small candle, comprising transforming a liquid or pasty mixture of the candle raw material with the composition into a solid phase and subsequently pressing in a pressing process into a pressed article.
