<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sealing method of an organic EL display device in which effect of moisture is effectively prevented and manufacturing cost can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the figure 2(E), the organic EL element 103 is covered with a resin sheet 30. The resin sheet 30 is closely adhered by laminating to a sealing substrate 40 and an element substrate 10 on which the organic EL element 103 is formed. By irradiating laser on a terminal part 25 formed on the element substrate 10 and generating an impulse wave by laser, the resin sheet 30 is separated from the terminal part 25.
