PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing technique providing a product with an improved smoothness of the surface of the liner sheet in manufacturing a plastic hollow plate having a three-layer structure in which a liner sheet is fused with a two-layer intermediate composed of a cap sheet and a back sheet. SOLUTION: The liner sheet is adhered temporarily to the top of the two-layer intermediate by means of a temporary fusion roll set consisting of a weak cooling roll surface-covered with a material of low thermal conductivity and a backup roll arranged so as to oppose the weak cooling roll through a clearance. Immediately after the temporary adhesion, the surface of the liner sheet of the temporarily adhered three-layer product is cooled by means of a cooling roll set consisting a strong cooling roll made of a material of high thermal conductivity and a backup roll arranged so as to oppose the strong cooling roll, and sizing is carried out with the thickness as the target in order to manufacture a plastic hollow plate having a smooth liner surface.
