PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating and purifying/recovering method of SF<SB>6</SB>, HFCs or PFCs. SOLUTION: The separating and purifying/recovering method of SF<SB>6</SB>, HFCs or PFCs includes a step of forming a hydrate of a gas-containing components other than the SF<SB>6</SB>, HFCs or PFCs. When the separating and purifying/recovering method of the SF<SB>6</SB>, HFCs or PFCs is used, not only enormous amount of economic effect is obtained but also the release to the atmosphere of the SF<SB>6</SB>, HFCs or PFCs having a high global warming index and corresponding to Non-CO<SB>2</SB>is prevented and the global warming is prevented since a fluoride gas can be separated and recovered with a remarkably low energy cost than utilizing a conventional method.
