PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a plurality of drive signals by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The drive signal generating device is equipped with a first output line group with a plurality of output lines, a voltage generating part which impresses mutually different voltages respectively to the output lines, a second output line group with a plurality of output lines branched from each output line of the first output line group, a switch attached to each of the output lines of the first output line group after branched and the second output line group, a first controlling part which generates a first drive signal for making liquid droplets delivered from a head by controlling either one of the switches of the first output line group while holding a time interval and by selecting and outputting one voltage among the different voltages, and a second controlling part which generates a second drive signal for making liquid droplets delivered from the head by controlling either one of the switches of the second output line group in a time when the first control part does not carry out selection of the voltage, and by selecting and outputting one voltage among the different voltages.
