摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a walking robot during charging without significant restrictions in a charging system for the walking robot which charges a battery mounted on the walking robot by connecting a power supplying connector provided in a charging station to a power receiving connector provided in the walking robot. SOLUTION: The charging system includes a lock mechanism 5 capable of locking the power supplying connector 4 to the power receiving connector 3 in a connected state. The charging station is provided with a connector holder 6 detachably holding the power supplying connector 4, an advancing/retracting mechanism advancing and retracting the connector holder 6 in the anteroposterior direction, and a lock operation mechanism performing a lock operation and an unlock operation of the lock mechanism 5 via the connector holder 6. After advancing the connector holder 6, the lock mechanism 5 performs the lock operation to connect and lock the power supplying connector 4 to the power receiving connector 3.
