PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to insert a bolt into a bolt hole with high precision and fasten it thereto, even if there is no sufficient space in a part around the bolt hole. SOLUTION: In a bolt fastening device, a left guide 30 formed with a holding part 50 is expanded, with a support part 32 as a fulcrum, by a pressing force when a socket 70 pushes-out a bolt B cantilevered by the holding part 50. Therefore, only by expanding the left guide 30, the bolt B can be fastened, even if not expanding the guide 20 wholly. As a result, the bolt B can be inserted into a hole A with high precision and fastened thereto, even if there is no sufficient space in a part around the bolt hole due to an intricate shape of a workpiece W2.
