PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, since a small animal trapping apparatus in a conventional technology is opened completely and waits for a rat to come and the adhesive surfaces of a pair of nipping plates coated with a self-adhesive exist on the surface, a rat which is very leery cannot be trapped easily. SOLUTION: The noxious animal trapping apparatus has a constitution that a frame body 3 is hung at the upper part of a noxious animal path or supported by props, the frame body 3 is equipped with mooring apparatuses 5 at three parts or more so as to moor a trapping net 1 electrically or physically at all times, the mooring net 1 is moored by a trapping net mooring tool 2 for hanging the trapping net 1 at the mooring positions of the mooring apparatuses 5, allowed to wait for a rat to approach; a sensor 4 having a trapping possible range for regulating a noxious animal trapping condition is arranged, when a noxious animal entering a detectable area is detected by the sensor 4; the moorage of the mooring apparatuses 5, electrically or physically moored based on a detection signal from the sensor 4, is released; and the trapping net 1 moored by the mooring apparatuses 5 is dropped to trap the noxious animal.
