The invention relates to an energy management for the drive of assemblies for processing and/or transport processes on machines and systems. The invention solves the problem of developing a drive concept, with which high efficiency of the overall system is achieved for applications having high inertial mass during reversed operation. In the process, a conversion of braking energy into thermal energy is to be avoided, a high intermediate circuit voltage is to be achieved for optimized utilization of the motors (voltage limiting curve), and the grid is to be loaded only with the actually required effective power. This is achieved in that the intermediate circuit voltage (UDC) is produced by controlled intermediate circuit processing and processed such that the intermediate circuit voltage (UDC) does not drop below a value (UDCm?n) defined in advance, that a device (1) is provided, with which upon a withdrawal of energy from the intermediate circuit energy from the feeding grid is supplied such that the intermediate circuit voltage (UDC) is maintained at a constant value (UDCm?n), and that the regenerative feedback ability is switched off at an intermediate circuit voltage of UDCm?n DC DCmax. |
