<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write-once or a rewritable optical information recording medium for allowing information recorded in a DVD-Video format adopting a CSS copyright protection technique to be reproduced in an existing information recording and/or reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium has a recording layer on a substrate with a guide groove formed thereon and information is reproduced and/or recorded by irradiating the recording layer with a laser beam.
