<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from moving out against the will of a driver when a vehicle is stopped while enabling the creep travel. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle is stopped, the braking force providing control is performed if the posture of a driver is changed when a brake pedal 7 is stepped on. Thus, any creep travel irrespective of the intention of a driver can be prevented when the posture is changed such that the driver makes a turn to a rear seat side to take something if the driver does not slacken any step-in of the brake pedal 7 intentionally. Further, in a case of the present embodiment, the vehicle stop is maintained only when the advancing direction is the forward direction, or when a seat belt is worn, preventing the maintenance of the stop of the vehicle when the driver intentionally wishes to perform the creep travel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
