PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ink viscosity increase and deposition in a cap of an inkjet recording device including a recording head containing a pigment ink and a dying ink that reacts with the pigment ink, and a common cap that simultaneously batch suction recovers the inks that have reacted. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device includes: a pigment black ink discharge port 1Aa; a dying color ink discharge port 1Ba that reacts with the pigment black ink; the cap 4 that has an absorbing member 9 in it, which is used to simultaneously batch suction recover the pigment black ink discharge port 1Aa and dying color ink discharge port 1Ba; and a preliminary discharge receiving means 16 for receiving and storing the preliminary discharged ink. All preliminary discharge from the pigment black ink discharge port 1Aa is received by the preliminary discharge receiving means 16, and all preliminary discharge from the dying color ink discharge port 1Ba is received in the cap.
