PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a useless user claim in wireless LAN application by providing a means enabling a state of wireless LAN application environment to be easily determined. SOLUTION: After a wireless LAN terminal 102 being out of service range enters a communication area of an access point 101, performs a predetermined transmission control procedure and becomes an attributed state to wireless LAN, starting intervals of a wireless part is determined according to a power saving parameter set in the access point 101 included in a Beacon which is received first, and a wireless part communication part is turned ON/OFF according to the intervals. In this case, the starting intervals is compared with a threshold preset in the wireless LAN terminal 102, whether the wireless terminal 102 operates at a power saving or non-power saving state is determined and the determination result is displayed on a display part of the wireless LAN terminal 102.
