PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of interrupting supply of a lubricating oil in low-speed revolution, and having a mechanical configuration. SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine has a rotor shaft 58, a sealing member 201 and a spring member 202. If the number of revolutions of the rotor shaft 58 is less than a predetermined value, an applying force is larger than a centrifugal force acting to the sealing member 201, and the sealing member 201 is pressed on an external peripheral opening 141, thereby interrupting the flow of the oil 1. If the number of revolutions of the rotor shaft 58 is not less than the predetermined value, the applying force is smaller than the centrifugal force acting to the sealing member 201 and the sealing member 201 is separated from the external peripheral opening 141 to generate the flow of the oil 1, and the oil 1 is discharged from the external peripheral opening 141.
