PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide fork device constituted by providing three pieces or more of slide forks in parallel by separating them in the cross direction, capable of effectively using these slide forks, corresponding to reception and delivery of a carrying article, heavy in weight and large in outline dimensions while restraining increase of manufacturing cost and extending its using area. SOLUTION: This slide fork device devised to receive and deliver the carrying article by providing three pieces of the slide forks 2A, 2B, 2C in parallel with equal intervals between them in the cross direction, placing or suspending the carrying article on their head end movable forks 5 and extending and contracting it in the horizontal direction is constituted to supply compressed air adjusted in prescribed pressure through a pressure reducing valve which is a pneumatic pressure adjusting means to an air spring 9 by connecting the head end movable fork 5 of the slide fork 2C in the center in the cross direction and the supporting member 11 of the carrying article to each other through the air spring 9 which is a force generating means by pneumatic pressure.
