PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal device enabling a container body to be shared corresponding to different crystal pieces and capable of excellently maintaining shock-resistance characteristics by especially improving the fixing strength of a crystal piece having an external periphery subjected to end face processing. SOLUTION: The crystal device for surface mounting has a structure in which both sides of one end of a crystal piece having a leading electrode extending from an excitation electrode are fixed on a pair of crystal terminals provided on both sides of one end in the inner bottom of a mounting substrate using a conductive adhesive. The pair of crystal terminals each have a tilting portion in which a gap between side surfaces opposite to each other gradually increase toward the center portion of an internal bottom surface, and both sides of one end portion in which a leading electrode of the crystal piece extends, thereby having a tilting portion are fixed on the pair of crystal terminals.
