PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of mounting and demounting a corner panel to a decoration panel by a simple operation. SOLUTION: A mounting face of the corner panel 330 of the decoration panel 300 is formed into a recessed portion 302 having an opening 301 for working on its center, shaft holes A1, B1 are formed on an edge step portion of the recessed portion 302, engagement holes C1, D1, E1, F1, G1 are formed on the other part of the recessed portion 302, shaft pieces A, B are formed on an edge portion of the corner panel 330 in a projecting state, and engagement pieces, C, D, E, F, G are formed on the other part of the corner panel. The shaft pieces A, B are inserted into the shaft holes A1, B1, and then the engagement pieces C, D, E, F, G are engaged with the engagement holes C1, D1, E1, F1, G1, thus the corner panel 330 covers the recessed portion 302 except for at least a finger hooking portion 331 of an edge portion at a side opposite to the shaft pieces A, B.
