摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and lightweight heat plate having no risk of gas leakage or the like even when used in vacuum for example, and to provide a method for manufacturing the heat plate capable of inexpensively fabricating the heat plate by few raw materials and few man-hours. SOLUTION: The heat plate 1 includes a substrate 2 comprising metal or an alloy, a pair of step parts 8 formed along a surface 3 of the substrate 2, exhibiting a meandering shape as seen from above, and positioned near the surface 3 of the substrate 2 on both sides of an opening, a recessed groove 6 positioned between the pair of step parts 8, 8 and comprising a passage 7 for a heating medium formed in a position deeper than the step parts 8, and a lid plate 5b comprising metal or an alloy, blocking the passage 7 for a heating medium of the recessed groove 6, and joined to the substrate 2 via a joint S between the surface 3 of the substrate 2 and the step parts 8 by friction agitation joining. The lid plate 5b exhibits a cross-sectionally almost reverse hat shape integrally having a thick part 5c inserted between the pair of step parts 8, 8 to block the opening of the recessed groove 6, and entering into a top part in the passage 7 for the heating medium in a bottom face.
