PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which enables a user to come and go between a sanitary room and a room sometime in the future, and which enables the user to have access to the outside of the building from both the sanitary room and the room. SOLUTION: Since the sanitary room 4 and the room 5 are arranged via a partition wall 6 which is not a structural wall, the user can come and go between the sanitary room 4 and the room 5 in a state in which the sanitary room 4 and the room 5 communicate with each other by removing the partition wall 6. Additionally, a courtyard 7, and openings 9 and 11, which enable him/her to come and go between the sanitary room 4 and the room 5, are formed in both an exterior wall 8 which forms the sanitary room 4 facing the externally-opened courtyard 7, and an exterior wall 10 which forms the room 5, respectively.
