PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle posture control device with a simple structure without sacrificing the width of a cabin. SOLUTION: The electric vehicle posture control device has a coil spring; an electric damper device having a conversion mechanism for converting vertical motion of a wheel to rotation of an electric motor; a displacement amount detection sensor for detecting a position of the vertical motion of the wheel; and a control part 200 for controlling the electric motor. The control part 200 has an average displacement amount calculation part 203; a vehicle height control part 204, a drive circuit output part 207 or the like. The average displacement amount calculation part 203 calculates average displacement amounts Ave(st)<SB>FL</SB>, Ave(st)<SB>FR'</SB>, Ave(st)<SB>RL</SB>, Ave(st)<SB>RR</SB>of the respective wheels based on signals St<SB>FL</SB>, St<SB>FR</SB>, St<SB>RL</SB>, St<SB>RR</SB>from the displacement amount detection sensor, and in the vehicle height control part 204, the displacement amount corresponding to the target vehicle height of the respective wheels is compared with the respective average displacement amounts and a target drive current value Ih is calculated so as to become the displacement amount corresponding to the target vehicle height of the respective wheels to control the vehicle height of the respective wheels.
