PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium dispensing machine interposed between game machines from which bills can be removed without disturbing the game played in the adjoining game machines and which can be easily subjected to maintenance control by reducing the frequency for bill-removing. SOLUTION: The game medium dispensing machine has a box-shaped inbetween frame 211 forming the outer face of the game medium machine, a bill identification machine which is placed in the inter-stand frame, identifies the legitimacy of bills input with the bills' shorter sides vertical from a bill inlet 213 facing the front face of the inbetween frame, and sends out legitimate bills from its outlet, bill containers 220a and 220b which are placed the inbetween frame and stores bills with their shorter sides vertical, a bill carrier 230 which leads bills from the outlet of the bill identification machine to a predetermined introduction position in the inbetween frame, and a container mover 250 which moves one of the bill containers so that bills are introduced into it at the introduction position from the bill carrier.
