PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of enhancing a player's interest in the play and keeping the player interested in the play by increasing the flexibility in symbols displayed on a subordinate reel or in setting an effective line, and by adding further game properties to the presentation with the subordinate reel. SOLUTION: The slot machine includes combination lottery means, reel control means, winning processing control means, and presentation control means capable of displaying prescribed presentation images in a display device. Reels are disposed in such a position as not included within the normal visual field of the player at the normal playing posture, and the display device is disposed in such a position as included within the player's normal visual field. Objects, which are varied or stopped corresponding to the rotation or stopping of the reels, can be displayed in the display device by the presentation control means. When the prescribed objects are stopped along an effective line on an image, the effective line on the image is displayed in such a way that the player can recognize, and the progress of the play can be announced to the player with the displayed effective line on the image.
