The method involves isolating layers (51-53) with high and low refractive index on a transparent substrate (3). The layers are manufactured from components such as magnesium fluoride, lead fluoride and antimony oxide by co-vaporation. The substrate is irradiated with ultraviolet-light and annealed at a temperature of 50 degree Celsius after isolating the layers. A central transmission wavelength of a transmission window is brought within a spectral transmission window in process of irradiation during transmission of a dielectric transmission-interference filter (1). An independent claim is also included for an intermediate product for manufacturing a dielectric ultraviolet transmission-interference filter.
