ON-VEHICLE OPTICAL LAN SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical LAN system which enhances degree of freedom in design while enabling appropriate output power control of the optical signal.

SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 20 includes an LD 21 for generating an optical output signal 101. An optical reception module 30 includes: a PD 31 for detecting the optical signal 101; a PD current detection circuit 32 for detecting the photo-current from the PD 31; and a power supply voltage control circuit 33 for receiving a voltage signal from the PD current detection circuit 32, where the voltage signal is in accordance with the photo-current. The power supply voltage of the LD 21 is controlled in a feedback manner by the power supply voltage control circuit 33 installed in the optical reception module 30 in such a way that the input voltage from the PD current detection circuit 32 is kept constant.
