<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a throughput of printing in an inkjet printer which uses black of a pigment ink poor in fixability for printing and uses dyes for other colors. <P>SOLUTION: An amount of use of the pigment Bk is suppressed other than when printing of line images such as characters and CAD drawings is carried out, and a ratio of the dyes is increased, thereby making drying fast.
