<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of preventing leakage of a refrigerant into a water passage. <P>SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 14 for hot water supply includes a plurality of tubes 23 forming a refrigerant passage 21 in which the refrigerant passes, a fin 24 disposed in a water passage 22 where the water passes, and a core plate 25 to which the plurality of tubes 23 and the fin 24 are brazed and joined by brazing filler metal 26. The core plate 25 includes a tube face portion 28 to which the plurality of tubes 23 are brazed and joined, and a fin face portion 27 as a back face portion of the tube face portion 25, to which the fin 24 is brazed and joined.
