<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene copolymer that is excellent in mechanical properties (including the balance among them), has improvement in melt tension (MT) and melt fluidity and is excellent in processing moldability and appearance and the same propylene copolymer that has an effect of improving mechanical properties possessed by the conventional propylene block copolymer, and to provide a process for producing the propylene copolymer. <P>SOLUTION: The propylene copolymer is provided, which is composed of (A) a crystalline component and (B) an amorphous component as given below and is characterized in that (i) the weight average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by GPC is 100,000-1,000,000; (ii) the content of a component insoluble in hot p-xylene is 0.3% or less; and (iii) the degree (λmax) of strain hardening as measured by elongational viscosity is 2.0 or more wherein the crystalline component (A) is a component (CXIS) insoluble in p-xylene at 25°C which has requirements as set forth in (A1)-(A5); and the amorphous component (B) is a component (CXS) being soluble in p-xylene at 25°C which has requirements as set forth in (B1)-(B4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
