PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, preventing transpiration from preserved food and maintaining and improving freshness keeping performance by maintaining high constant humidity, and simply improving quality and safety by acquiring and controlling the atomizing amount of fine mist generated by operating an electrostatic atomizer by a current value. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a vegetable room 107 is provided with a control circuit 137 for controlling a voltage applying part 135 for applying to an atomizing electrode 120, a discharge current detecting means 136 for detecting a current, and the atomizer, and an atomizing amount determination means 138 for determining the atomizing amount from the current value detected by the discharge current detecting means 136 in the control circuit 137, whereby the atomizing amount can be acquired by the current value, and optimized so that abnormal dew condensation in a storage room can be prevented to hold the room with high humidity.
