PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of storing only pieces recorded with good sound quality from among pieces of music desired to be stored by a user. SOLUTION: A control unit 30 determines, when an operation unit receives an instruction of storing music being received by a reception unit in a HDD (YES in S180), whether the evaluation value of sound quality in the music whose storing instruction has been received by the operation unit is larger than a threshold value indicated by threshold value data stored in the HDD (S186). Then, when it is determined that the evaluation value of the sound quality in the music whose storing instruction has been received is larger than the threshold value (YES in S186), the control unit 30 reads music data regarding the music whose storing instruction has been received from the memory area 410 of broadcast-related data of a memory 40 (S188), and stores music-related data where the read music data is associated with sound quality evaluation value data indicating the evaluation value of the sound quality in the music whose storing instruction has been received, in a HDD 50 (S190).
