PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience for a user by processing pieces of information about music and images en bloc to perform reproduction control even when sources (recording medium and broadcasting) are different. SOLUTION: The method includes: storing list display information for displaying a list of retrieved information and pieces of information of a reproduction selection target searched based on a predetermined search condition on a display unit; displaying a list corresponding to the stored list display information on the display unit (step S17), causing, when information corresponding to the list display information is permitted to be updated, a user to announce it (step S14); updating the list display information when the announce is made and an update instruction is made by the user (step S16); and reproducing information of a reproduction target selected by the user based on the list.
