PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect reproduced data in synchronization with an information signal by a digital circuit. SOLUTION: A reproducing apparatus includes: a reproducing means which reproduces the information signal from a recording medium; a conversion means for sampling the information signal reproduced by the reproducing means according to clock of a predetermined frequency higher than the frequency of the information signal and converting it into a first digital signal; an oversampling means for increasing the number of samples in the first digital signal output from the conversion means and generates a second digital signal; and a reproduced data detection means for selecting two adjacent samples from the second digital signal based on the frequency of the information signal reproduced by the reproducing means and the phase change amount of the information signal and generates the reproduced data using the digital signal of the selected sample.
