PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of inhibiting dilution of lubricating oil while inhibiting increase of combustion noise in a fuel injection control system for an internal combustion engine provided with a fuel injection valve capable of injecting fuel directly into a cylinder. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection control system for an internal combustion engine provided with a fuel injection valve injecting fuel directly into the cylinder, a pressure increasing process for increasing injection pressure of post injection as compared to injection pressure of main injection is executed when the fuel injection valve need to do post injection after doing main injection.
