PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a reinforcement for a window and an entrance, which is an opening vulnerable to a strong earthquake for solving the problem that although a brace as an earthquake-resisting protection measure and the other equipment can be easily constructed in a new building, long-period complicated construction work and huge cost are required for remodeling a house where an inhabitant presently lives for earthquake resistance. SOLUTION: A post having 7.5 cm square is used for a steel-made or wooden brace 1, the forward end of the square rod material is made to closely adhere to an internal angle of a head jamb of a frame-shaped structure, and the lower end of the square rod material is made to closely adhere to the upside of a sill 6, thereby forming a V-shape with the other square rod to exhibit effectiveness as the brace 1.
