PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated structure which hardly causes residual deformation in a fireproof covering material. SOLUTION: This base-isolated structure 1 is formed to isolate the intermediate stories of a building. The base-isolated structure 1 mainly comprises a floor slab 2, a footing 3 installed on the floor slab 2, a sliding plate 4 installed on the upper surface of the footing 3, a sliding support 5 installed on the sliding plate 4, a square column 6 vertically installed on the sliding support 5, a floor slab 7 on the upper story which is supported by the square column 6, a fireproof board 8 surrounding the periphery of the sliding support 5, a sheet-shaped fireproof covering material 9 covering the upper surface of the sliding plate 4, a wall body 10 vertically installed on the floor slab 2, and a tilting means 11 installed at a recessed corner 13 formed of the footing 3 and the wall body 10.
