PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure tightening method of a finger joint capable of pressing a finger joint completely under predetermined pressure by consuming no long time and capable of responding to distribution of one and the same resin material. SOLUTION: In the pressure method, a wooden material line A1 which keeps a wooden material A tentatively jointed in a longitudinal direction by a finger joint is subjected to pressure tightening in a line direction by a stopper 20 and oil cylinder 21 to give a wooden jointed material B, wherein a stopping of the oil cylinder 21 for pressure is detected and the pressing by the oil cylinder 21 for an additional time determined by thus detected result during the above pressure processing period.
