The unit (5) has an electrical device formed as a virtual motor (6) developing electrical performance of an electromechanical motor i.e. brushless direct current motor, together with commutation units in real-time. The electromechanical motor is coupled with a control unit (1) and develops load performance by an associated brake. A parametrisable control module determines controlling technique principle of the motor to be simulated and the units by combination of an electrical switching circuit and software so that a control technique model includes a parameter to control desired motor load.
