<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of suppressing rise of a cathode potential after power generation stoppage of a fuel cell, and preventing degradation of the fuel cell at restarting. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 is provided with a fuel cell stack 10, a hydrogen tank 31 as well as a second shutoff valve 34 for supplying fuel gas to an anode flow channel 16a, a voltage sensor 23 for detecting a cathode potential of the fuel cell stack 10 for every elapse of a given time Δt1 after power generation stoppage of the fuel cell stack 10, an ECU 60 storing the cathode potentials, and the ECU 60 for calculating difference of this-time cathode potential and previous cathode potential, and, when the difference is above a given value, calculating a target supply volume of hydrogen based on the difference, and controlling the second shutoff valve 34 so that hydrogen of the target supply volume is supplied to the anode flow channel 16a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
