<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible duct of high quality capable of using a flexible linear band obtained by cutting a cloth material by a prescribed width without degradation of appearance of the flexible duct caused by fray of a linear band cut portion, and possibility of separation of the flexible band from a metallic linear band. <P>SOLUTION: In this flexible duct constituted by spirally winding the flexible linear band having the prescribed width, and caulking and connecting adjacent side edge portions of the flexible linear band by the metallic linear band, a superposed flexible linear band formed by folding the wide linear band roughly into half in the width direction with one of the side edges composed of a folded edge, is used as the flexible linear band, and the flexible linear band is caulked by the metallic linear band so that a side edge portion at an opposite side of the folded edge of the flexible linear band is positioned at an inner side of the duct with respect to the side edge portion of the folded edge side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
