<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a large torque, and to stabilize the torque. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor includes a rectangular piezoelectric vibrator having a piezoelectric chip; a moving body which moves relative to the piezoelectric vibrator by vibration of the piezoelectric vibrator; a pressing member which applies a pressing force to the piezoelectric vibrator; and a guide member, prepared around the piezoelectric vibrator which has an inner face, defining a space where the piezoelectric vibrator is accommodated and contacting fixing members, forming protrusions prepared on the piezoelectric vibrator, and which slides and guides the piezoelectric vibrator in the pressing direction by the pressing member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
