<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which stably suppresses accumulation of contaminant on a secondary transfer means without depending on an output image pattern and also suppresses damage of the secondary transfer means and a cleaning means. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor drum 10, an electrifying device 14, an exposure device 16, a developing device 18, an intermediate transfer belt 12, a primary transfer roll 20, a secondary transfer roll 26, and a secondary transfer cleaning device 30. Toner contained in developer stored in the developing device 18 contains toner particles and inorganic particles whose relative dielectric constant is ≥6 and ≤30, and the volume release rate of the inorganic particles is ≥5% and ≤50%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
